Meet Tylee

When Tylee grows up, she wants to be a dentist, but not just any kind of dentist-she wants to be the kind that will make kids love to get their teeth checked.

Tylee, a third grader at Conner Street Elementary in Putnam County, was inspired by her own dentist, Dr. Martin. "He even has televisions in the ceiling, so when you lie back, you can watch," she says. "He's nice to everybody and he doesn't hurt at all!"

Tylee's mother, Karen, is saving for Tylee's post-secondary education with SMART529, an easy, tax-advantaged way to save for a child's college education, and friends and family can contribute, too.

Dr. Martin told Tylee she'd have to go to college for eight years to become a dentist, but that's no problem for Tylee, who adores school.

And if she doesn't become a dentist? "I'll be a doctor," she says decisively.

Bright futures begin with SMART savings.
