Meet Issac

Future Engineer

Isaac is a clever second grader at Martha Elementary School who is already working toward his goal of becoming an engineer. He earned $500 in scholarship money with his winning entry in the SMART529 When I Grow Up essay contest.

“I want to be an engineer because I like building things,” he said. “I want to build a hospital, so I can help people and a house, so I can live in it.”

Isaac has already got a list of completed builds including a chair out of foam blocks, a robot out of cardboard and a toy crane as part of summer engineering camp he attended at Marshall University.

He likes reading, building Legos, participating in flag football, basketball and soccer and playing on his iPad.

Bright futures begin with SMART savings.
